For the 27 MHz band, the operating frequency must be at least 5 kHz from the centre frequency of any adjacent Citizen Band radio channel and the emission bandwidth must not exceed 10 kHz. Maximum field strength for both bands is 125 dB/Vm at 3 metres. The MAAA does not recommend the use of the 27 MHz band for the radio control of aircraft. 40.665 and 40.695 may be used if monitoring shows them to be free of interference. The following frequencies are approved for the radio control of toys, including models, in Australia. Maximum allowed field strength at 3 metres is 125 dB/Vm. The use of the 36 Mhz band is restricted to the radio control of water craft and aircraft.
